It's called Roto-Scope. Also known as, tracing.

Don't take the credit my friend, if anything you are an decent tracer. Those movements were all roto-scoped. Those who are confused, Google it. The rest it means nothing more than traced out the actual film, frame by frame. Now, I don't review very much at all. But, I'm sure this will get front page, and I'm not going to let you get away with saying you drew it. Ask any of us vets here of animation. Unless of course you will swear up and down you animated that from your head, in that clase close the porn, get out of your house and submit that to a studio! Your better than many of us, who've been at this for years!

Not 8 words into the description did I mention that this was, indeed, roto-scoped. And, yup, you guessed it, I traced the whole damn thing. I also directed/shot/edited and corriographed the entire video portion.
I'm not trying anything break-through here, I'm not even saying it makes any sence, there is plenty of stuff I could of done to make it more visually comprehendable, I just wanted to see if I had the endurance to pull this off. Plus I was bored with tweening and programing and I thought this would be nice practice for tackling real FBF animation. Like it or not, here it is.
Also, how do you think the animators on the Lord of the Rings got Gollum to look so life like in his movements? I'll give you a hint: it starts with "r" and ends with "oto-scoping".
Regardless, thank you for your time,

Superb. Excellent! Again? Finish Him!

Toasty!

Very, very, sharp writing. You have skills friend. It's the only thing that placed this on the front page. Graphics were medicore, and voice acting was terrible. But, your screenplay had heart, at all it's jokes. You felt like those three actually could be roomates. My props.

Randy, the sprite crown now belongs to you...

I'm not sure if you read your reviews or not buddy, but contact me. First check out some of my work to get an idea for my style. I have a major project in the works. I'm an art student, obtaining my bachelors in Media Arts, and Animation. I'll explain everything once we get in touch, but I know it's right up your alley. This flash is the masterpiece of sprite animation, I'm serious Randy you completely outdid yourself. No one will ever come close to the sheer perfection, that is Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom...

Absolutely stunning.

Rarely you have something this exhilirating, and full of heart show itself upon the humble halls of Newgrounds. Absolutely perfect, in ever concept. The art was stunning. And I in no way ever saw something this masterful being performed with Flash. If your just a base free-lance animator/artist. I highly reccomend you plunge that into the ground. And submit this one piece to the art school of your choice. It is your golden ticket. Good luck, with all your future endeavors.

Superb.

That was amazing. Great sense of syntax. And wonderful worldy approach. I was expecting to see "TEH game is SUXOR" but very reassuringly none of the above. Great work. I kindly ask you to check out my piece here, titled "VGD: The Game Industry". And, then reach me on AIM, or MSN. RyanDL7

Have a good one!

Superb. Absolutely.

Well animated, and great thought out story. I've never heard that song in my life. But, I don't think it will leave my head anytime soon. Wonderful work. Great sight gag with the mental breakdown. It looked very good. Look forward to more of your work. And, I've never given a ten for sound before, so enjoy it.

Touch'e

You my friend, are done in the animation buisness. You will NEVER compile a good pitch. I'm guessing this is your goal? If you keep pitching out OTHER PRODUCTION'S gags. God, do you know how many people love the family guy?

Good work.

Very promising, the voices were so-so. But the animation and models used were very impressive. A nice sense of drama in the cinematics. Way to go! Looking forward to chapter 2!

The best thing...

Was most of your backgrounds. They had a nice depth to them. Other than that...work on the animation. If that's the BEST you've done I wouldn't want to see the worst. No offense of course, it was a great effort. Just really work on the next one! Just some constructive criticism.

Very Good.

I was a master of Mortal Kombat, as a child. So of course Scorp had to win. Good take on the MK feel, and the dialogue wasn't bad... Sprite rips looked great, and good use of interactivity. The outakes were so, so, but the matrix parody had me rolling. Congrats, and can't wait for the sequel!
